Kite is from Norway - Kite play their music very loud - Kite like to travel - Metal mania with melodic breaks is Kite.

Kite are a four piece hard rock band from Norway with a reputation as an electric live act. Grunge sentiments with thrashing inflexions, pop catchiness and steely guitar grating give you Kite. Rock without the cock – Kite are what its about.

Kite have the Kite sound. It ranges from the thrashiest metal to the softest of melodies. Comparisons to the Foo Fighters, Tool, and Metalica can be made and are accepted. It’s about rocking with songs.

Kite are almost famous in Norway having enjoyed TV appearances, supported the biggest bands (Hives, Hellacopters etc), toured Scandinavia and Western
Europe and released a plethora of self funded EPs before being signed to independent Norwegian label Reel
Noise Records.

2004 saw Kite travel right through Europe - touring extensively in Norway, UK and Scandinavia, shooting a video and finishing the album. November saw the debut album ’Bring Out Your Dead’ released in Norway with more dates in Norway and the UK .

The three week UK tour was the third time Kite have graced (debased) the isles of Great Britain and builds on their growing UK fanbase. With funding from the Norwegian government (is that good or bad) gaining a UK presence is a number one priority. The album "Bring out your Dead" has been licensed to UK label Stunted Records for UK release in 2006.

Livewire voodoo #1
” this is a band to really watch out for! They cook together a brew of heavy rock quite unsimilar to other Norwegian rock. That the band sounds like a unit with this strong feeling of joy and creativity in the arrangements indicates that this gang might be something big!”
panorama.no

“after only few seconds Kite fully show their distinctive stamp with good melodies, good vocal and elegant transitions and variations. This is something of the best I`ve heard within this genre in a long time!”
The newspaper Glåmdalen gives 5 out of 6

“Kite again prove that they have solid abilities. The contradictions in their music are just what makes the band more innovative than most other Norwegian rockbands”
